Mayo Clinic presents two parallel symposia with one registration!
The third annual “ENT Update 2019” symposium will provide a comprehensive review of clinical updates pertinent to the practice of general otolaryngology. Mayo Clinic faculty will provide a state-of-the art review of all subspecialties, covering head and neck, sleep medicine, otology, laryngology, facial plastic surgery and pediatric otolaryngology.
The eighth annual “Tackling Problematic Sinusitis 2019” symposium will run concurrent sessions that share optimal strategies in endoscopic sinus surgery, frontal sinus surgery, basic skull base procedures, medical management of recalcitrant sinusitis and nasal pathology, as well as a live surgical prosection. Honored international guest faculty includes Prof. Valerie Lund and Prof. David Howard of the United Kingdom.

Tackling Problematic Sinusitis
1. Describe practical tests to subtype chronic rhinosinusitis
2. Select optimal medical treatments based on chronic rhinosinusitis subtyping
3. Identify factors associated with primary sinus surgery failure
4. Perform optimal revision surgeries for chronic rhinosinusitis
