Join us for this one-of-a-kind Mayo Clinic continuing education program providing a unique focus on the management of challenging ablation cases and device tracings. This course is designed to provide contemporary knowledge of both ablation and implantable electronic devices while minimizing time away from busy clinical practices of electrophysiology practitioners. 

This CME activity is a collaborative effort of experts from Bordeaux University in Bordeaux, France, and Mayo Clinic.  Experts from across the United States and Bordeaux, France will join us for this Mayo Clinic Continuing Education Conference.

Target Audience

This course is designed for electrophysiology physicians and technicians, as well as nurse practitioners, physician assistants and registered nurses working in electrophysiology laboratories. Personnel involved in mapping arrhythmia and performing device interrogations and other healthcare providers interested in learning more about complex ablation and device tracings may benefit from the course.

Learning Objectives

Upon conclusion of this program, participants should be able to:

  • Employ rigorous criteria in management of patients with clinical arrhythmia incorporating American Heart Association clinical practice guidelines along with contemporary knowledge.
  • Interpret complex dynamic electrograms during challenging cases.
  • Demonstrate methodology to overcome challenging access issues to reach the heart in patients with venous anomaly and obstructions.
  • Utilize remote monitoring in recognizing cardiovascular implantable electronic device (CIED) changes to address emergent problems.
