Epilepsy treatment using stimulation therapies is a rapidly developing field of practice. This course aims to create a non-biased, company-inclusive course that provides CME for neurosurgeons, neurologists, internal medicine doctors, and their teams to learn about the latest technological and surgical advances related to stimulation therapies for epilepsy. The course will include lectures and hands-on sessions to provide practical knowledge regarding device programming and care delivery. Invasive and non-invasive therapies for epilepsy as well as topics related to epilepsy co-morbidities and next generation stimulation approaches will be discussed.

Learning Objectives
Upon conclusion of this program, participants should be able to:
- Explain the benefits and risks of neurostimulation to multidisciplinary epilepsy teams and patients
- Program devices for vagus nerve stimulation (VNS), responsive neurostimulation (RNS), and deep brain stimulation (DBS)
- Describe advanced surgical techniques for placement of stimulation devices for epilepsy
