This course is designed for MCHS physician leaders. Topics covered are:
- Reviewing or learning basic strategic management concepts – 30 min
- Understanding the importance of strategic planning in competitive sustainability - 30 min
- Introduction to tools for analysis, determining strategy, and on-going strategy assessment – 30 min
- Understanding the importance of maintaining strategy and alignment across organization – 45 min
- Understanding role of leaders in implementing strategy – 30 min
- Steps for looking ahead – using strategic plan for innovation, growth – 15 min
- Q&A and introduction of next topic - 30 min
The course is coordinated and taught by MCHS leaders and University of Wisconsin Eau Claire faculty.
