This is a one day interactive workshop with lectures focused on the key elements of developing a research project in addition to group discussions to help participants prepare their research ideas and translate them into a feasible and high-quality study. The course is targeted to Mayo Emergency Medicine providers in Rochester, Arizona, and Florida throughout the Mayo Health System.
This course is designed for Physicians, and NP/PA's in Emergency Medicine.
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Formulate a feasible research question and hypothesis
- Review how to successfully search the medical literature
- Describe how to navigate the IRB
- Develop basic research designs/methodologies and biostatistics
- Specify the major elements of scientific manuscript preparation

When cancelling a registration for a course 14 days or more before the course start date, a full refund (minus a $75 administrative fee) will be issued in the same form of payment the registration was received. No refunds are granted less than 14 days before the course start date.
