Mayo Clinic Gastroenterology and Hepatology 2016
Mayo Clinic’s Gastroenterology and Hepatology 2016 is designed to update physicians and other health care providers practicing in gastroenterology and hepatology about new approaches for diagnosis and management of gastrointestinal and liver diseases. Faculty will present data on multiple topics, including inflammatory bowel disease, colorectal neoplasia, general gastroenterology, esophageal, motility, nutrition, pancreaticobiliary disorders, endoscopy and hepatology.
Controversies in diagnosis and management will be analyzed in discussions and concurrent breakout sessions. Complex endoscopy cases and cutting-edge technology will be presented by expert endoscopists in a video forum.
Highlighting the 2016 course is participation by the Presidents of all four major gastroenterology societies in the United States. Presidents include Mayo Clinic consultants Keith D. Lindor, M.D., Kenneth R. DeVault, M.D., Michael Camilleri, M.D., and Douglas O. Faigel, M.D., of AASLD, ACG, AGA and ASGE, respectively. Attendees will have an opportunity to interact with the Presidents at breakfast and lunch sessions.
To maximize time away from practice and enhance your learning experience, three optional educational activities will be offered:
- The American Board of Internal Medicine Maintenance of Certification Learning Session – 2015 Update in Gastroenterology
- Hands-on Endoscopy Workshop
- Advanced Practitioner Afternoon Session
Please refer to the course brochure for additional optional educational activity session descriptions and objectives.
