The Practice of Internal Medicine, celebrating its fortieth year, is a postgraduate course designed to provide general internists, internist-subspecialists, family medicine physicians, and other primary care professionals with a state-of-the-art update in internal medicine. Lectures, panel presentations, and concurrent workshops are presented by specialists from Mayo Clinic. The topics represent some of the most common problems encountered in clinical practice including the management of a variety of medical issues seen in areas of gastroenterology, infectious diseases, general internal medicine, rheumatology, geriatrics, emergency medicine, pulmonary, endocrinology, cardiology, neurology, and women’s health.

ABIM Maintenance of Certification (MOC)
Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the participant to earn up to 31 MOC points in the American Board of Internal Medicine’s (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. Participants will earn MOC points equivalent to the amount of CME credits claimed for the activity. It is the CME activity provider’s responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABIM MOC credit.
