The Ethio-American Annual Medical conference is the first medical conference for health care professionals mainly of Ethiopian origin. It is meant to be the premiere health care and ACCME accredited conference to be conducted in North America. It is jointly organized by Ethio-American Doctors Group (EADG) and People to People (P2P). EADG is an organization formed by a group of Ethiopian diaspora health care professionals (mainly medical doctors with different specialties from all over the world) who are trying to establish an economically sustainable, center of excellence hospital that will deliver an internationally accredited standard of care and become a catalyst for change in how health care is delivered in Ethiopia. P2P is a non-governmental, non-profit organization dedicated to improving health care and reducing the spread of diseases, particularly in Ethiopia and in diaspora communities. This conference will update EADG members and others in the latest knowledge of medicine.
