Course Description and Intended Audience

Tutorials in Diagnostic Radiology is a postgraduate course designed to update the diagnostic radiologist on new trends, relevant techniques, and practical applications in diagnostic imaging. The latest advances will be emphasized and related to common problems encountered in clinical practice. An optional Advanced Radiology Life Support(ARLS) course is offered Friday, January 19, 2018. Course Learning Objectives

Upon conclusion of this program, participants should be able to:

  • Summarize the role of the radiologist in the pre-surgical comprehensive diagnostic evaluation
  • Review CT and MR imaging of chronic liver disease
  • Recognize the role of MR imaging in the presence of metal
  • Identify what the general radiology needs to know about spontaneous intracranial hypotension
  • Examine multiparametric MR imaging of the prostate
