Primary Care Topics for Everyday Practice  is a one day course designed for the family medicine physician, physician assistant, nurse practitioner and nurses. This course will provide attendees with current and relevant updates for daily care and management of a variety of patient health concerns in primary care. Time is allocated for questions and discussion.

Target Audience

This course is designed for Primary Care (Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics Physicians (M.D. or D.O.), PAs and NPs.

Learning Objectives

Upon conclusion of this program, participants should be able to:
• Identify which patients need formal allergy testing and what testing is best in those scenarios.
• Summarize and explain evidence based strategies for early introduction of peanut products to infants. 
• Identify causes and treatment of male and female sexual dysfunction. 
• Describe strategies for combating side effects experienced with oral contraception. 
• Review dietary, behavioral, medication and surgical interventions for management of obesity.
