The 2nd Annual Mayo Clinic Specialty Updates for the Generalist Team – 2023 at the Margaritaville Resort Orlando is a three-day continuing medical education course that covers internal medicine subspecialties with updates and new guidelines that impact clinical practice. Mayo Clinic experts will present on various topics in internal medicine, cardiology, gastroenterology, infectious diseases, endocrinology, rheumatology, dermatology, hematology, perioperative medicine, pulmonology, neurology and women's health.

Target Audience

This course is intended for general internists, family medicine providers, nurse practitioners, physician assistants and internal medicine subspecialists.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Highlight key guideline changes in managing patients with diabetes mellitus
  • Review standard-of-care and novel treatments for patients suffering from chronic migraine headaches
  • Discuss current management strategies for patients hospitalized with acute pancreatitis
