Mayo Clinic Rehab in the ICU: An Interdisciplinary Approach

This online, asynchronous course provides knowledge and insight into rehabilitation feasibility and safety in the ICU setting. Growing evidence supports early mobility as critical to good patient outcomes, necessitating rehab services in the ICU. The course offers both an adult and pediatric track along with shared content on topics like the psychological impact of an ICU stay on both the patient and their family, advances in the prevention and treatment of PICS, lessons learned in the recent pandemic and rehabilitation for patients with post-COVID long haulers syndrome.
