Addiction and Population Approaches to Depression is a mini-course derived from Psychiatry Clinical Reviews – Online, which consists of five mini-courses focusing on the management of psychiatric problems including:

  • Bipolar Disorder
  • Medical and Pharmaceutical Aspects of Psychiatry
  • Addiction and Population Approaches to Depression
  • Borderline Personality Disorder and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder
  • Aspects of Suicide

 

 

Target Audience

This course is designed for physicians, nurse practitioners and physicians assistants who are involved in the management of psychiatric problems across all care settings.

Learning Objectives

Upon conclusion of this program, participants should be able to:

  • Describe reasons we need integrated models of behavior health
  • Identify the critical components of collaborative care
  • Discuss common pharmacologic options for smoking cessation and opioid use disorders
