Epic Re-Boot Camp Inpatient Session - September 17, 2019

The Epic User Re-Boot is a one day intense, focused, and immersive experience.  It is developed by Mayo Clinic providers, taught by Mayo Clinic Providers, and focuses on Mayo Clinic providers.  It focuses on efficiency rather than function.  It is being offered to health system sites to help address gaps in EHR usage since the new system was released.

Target Audience

This course is designed for Primarily Physicians, however, may also have some Residents, Fellows, Nurses, Physician Assistants, and other allied health staff that utilize the EHR to provide patient care.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to:

  • Integrate skills through continued practice
  • Recall efficient process for order entry and other processes to manage patient care
  • Apply learned efficiencies to everyday practice when caring for patients

Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

You can add the following statement informing the learner that we will be reporting their MOC credit:

Accredited providers are required to submit learner completion data for each activity registered as meeting ABA MOCA requirements via PARS. Thus, your credit will be reported by Mayo Clinic on your behalf 30 days post course.

ABIM
Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the participant to earn up to 7.5 Medical Knowledge MOC points in the American Board of Internal Medicine's (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. Participants will earn MOC points equivalent to the amount of CME credits claimed for the activity. It is the CME activity provider's responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABIM MOC credit.

Participation information will be shared with ABIM through PARS.

ABO
Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the learner to satisfy the Lifelong Learning requirements for the American Board of Ophthalmology’s Maintenance of Certification program.
