Ethical dilemmas related to patient care can be associated with medical, psychosocial, ethical, and spiritual challenges for health care team members. This course focuses on how to effectively determine patient preferences and appropriate goals of care; developing a coordinated, consistent approach to ethical dilemmas to reduce both the frequency of occurrence, and stress among providers, patients and their families, and the community; and creating, and implementing, an ethics consultation service in your practice based on the four quadrant approach.
