This course will provide the latest, state-of-the-art information on the diagnosis and management of common disorders such as Esophageal cancer; eosinophilic esophagitis; anti-coagulation; obesity medical and endoscopic options, acute pancreatitis; hereditary aspects of gastrointestinal cancer; managing complications of cirrhosis and portal hypertension; update on cholestatic and autoimmune liver disorders; hepatitis B and C - current therapies; and controversies in liver transplantation.

  • Review the management of complications stemming from cirrhosis and portal hypertension
  • Appraise current and emerging care paradigms for autoimmune and cholestatic liver disease
  • Define the latest hepatitis B and C treatment guidelines
  • Evaluate alcoholic hepatitis treatment and assess controversies in the use of liver transplantation for alcoholic hepatitis
