The registration fee includes tuition, a comprehensive
electronic course syllabus, morning yoga, continental breakfasts, break refreshments, reception and bag.
Although it is not Mayo School of Continuous Professional Development (CPD) policy to limit the number of registrants for a course, conference room facilities may necessitate closing of enrollment; therefore, early registration is advised.

Workshops
Basic suturing workshop: Thursday, Feb. 26, 2015, 1:30-4:45 p.m.
This session is geared toward beginners and those wishing to refresh their suturing skills. At the end of the session, participants should be able to:
Understand principles of wound management Identify different suture material and needles Practice different forms of suturing techniques Critical care skills workshop: Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2015, 1:00-5:00 p.m.
This pre-course offering is an intensive half-day workshop with a focus in commonly encountered bedside procedures for the hospitalized patient. It integrates both didactic and simulation-based learning into an experiential curriculum that emphasizes knowledge and practice behavior. It arms the participant with the knowledge and skills to complete common bedside procedures.
At the end of the session, participants should be able to:
Articulate standardized procedure for ultrasound-guided thoracentesis Recognize anatomic landmarks and approach when completing lumbar puncture
