For various reasons, female faculty members achieve associate and professor rank at a rate lower than their male counterparts. This is true both within and outside Mayo. Additionally, many faculty and staff are encouraged to engage in scholarly activity yet have less experience. This course proposes to raise awareness of the steps needed for women to advance their scholarly and academic careers.
