LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

• Summarize the medical requirements for a person to qualify for social security disability benefits
• Identify what type of medical information is useful for doctors and medical professionals to provide to Social Security and patient attorneys/representatives.
• Outline and explain the very important role medical providers play in regard to their patients who are unable to work and need to seek disability benefits as a result.
