The development and manufacture of DWL Transcranial Doppler Sonography (TCD) is the core competence of Compumedics Germany. With the help of TCD screening, the risk of vascular diseases can be diagnosed and a targeted decision about therapy and treatment can be made.

Research results say that COVID-19 can be particularly dangerous in patients whose vascular function is already impaired by pre-existing conditions and then leads to vascular inflammation, heart attack, stroke. TCD can help for early detection and therapy determination.

Transcranial Doppler Sonography (TCD) has its unique performance in measuring and analyzing flow velocity in blood vessels and detecting cerebral micro emboli.

An intracranial routine examination can assist in diagnosis vasculitis by following proximal cerebral vascular abnormalities.

Convenient Patient data management - the process of storing, protecting, and analyzing data pulled from diverse sources is obtaining more importance. DWL Doppler offers a digital output interface to Philips IntelliVue Monitors for clinical monitoring application. Coming soon: digital output interface to Cambridge ICM+. Currently DWL TCD can be connected to Cambridge ICM+ through DWL analog output interface via A/D converter.
