NNDC Best Practices is aimed at providing clinically relevant updates for the management of mood disorders & associated comorbidities across the lifespan. Topics include updates and clinical pearls on treatment resistant depression and bipolar disorder, new & novel treatments for depression, and when to refer for ketamine, TMS, ECT, psychedelic therapy. The Expanded Autonomic Training course complements the Clinical Autonomic Quantitative Workshop offered every other year at Mayo Clinic. The target audience for the expanded training is physicians and neurophysiology technicians starting an autonomic laboratory or seeking to refresh/refine skills in autonomic function testing. Participants of the program are interviewed to assess current level of education, knowledge, and experience in order to structure the individual’s learning experience.

This interactive (In-person) workshop will prepare simulation educators in developing and implementing assessment of learning and performance in a simulated environment. This workshop is a comprehensive overview of theory, basic elements, design, checklist/tool development and feedback that are essential for successful simulated learner assessments. Participants will learn and practice strategies on how to design and evaluate both scenario and skills focused simulation-based learner assessments in an experiential learning environment with feedback from experienced Simulation faculty.
