The annual Mayo Clinic Florida Value Symposium serves as a commemoration among Mayo Clinic colleagues, offering a platform to share stories and examples of process improvements that positively influence outcomes in patient safety, service, experience, and equity for patients and staff alike. The symposium aims to educate, inspire, and galvanize staff to engage in quality activities that enhance the value provided to our patients. In 2024, the symposium will spotlights quality improvement activities by staff under the theme: "Humanizing AI Implementation in Healthcare: Maintaining a Patient and Staff Centric Culture." The symposium features an interactive session facilitated by quality experts and accessible to all attendees. The poster gallery is both virtual and in-person, providing participants with an opportunity to share their experiences and educate colleagues about quality improvement, patient safety, and patient experience.

December 16, 2024 - Mayo Clinic - Rochester, Minnesota

This In-person, one-day, multidisciplinary, interactive course will provide an introduction to simulation-based education. Topics discussed include principles of experiential learning, planning a simulation course, writing and implementing scenarios, and debriefing strategies. Participants also have opportunities to practice scenario writing and debriefing with the guidance of experienced faculty. Enrollment is limited to encourage discussion between attendees.

Radiology at Amelia Island is a post-graduate continuing medical education course that will provide radiologists and radiologists-in-training with a subspecialty review of practical applications, current trends and emerging techniques in diagnostic and interventional radiology. The 5-day course will include interactive lectures and panel discussions from world-renowned practicing radiologists at Mayo Clinic. Each day of the course will focus on particular radiology subspecialties including body imaging, neuroradiology, musculoskeletal imaging, nuclear medicine, breast imaging, and interventional radiology.
