Expert lectures representing a spectrum of sports medicine fields provide the attendee with multidisciplinary information related to athletic injury evaluation, treatment, prevention, mental health and return to play transition. Multiple educational formats are used, including case presentations, interactive Q&A sessions, as well as live demonstrations of physical examination, anatomy, ultrasound and arthroscopy. As in recent years, the symposium is broadcast via livestream for remote participation.

This In-person, one-day, multidisciplinary, interactive course will provide an introduction to simulation-based education. Topics discussed include principles of experiential learning, planning a simulation course, writing and implementing scenarios, and debriefing strategies. Participants also have opportunities to practice scenario writing and debriefing with the guidance of experienced faculty. Enrollment is limited to encourage discussion between attendees.

The Mayo Clinic Advanced Cholecystectomy and Biliary Tract Stones course provides comprehensive insight into the multidisciplinary approach to patients with complex cholelithiasis-related pathology. The program demonstrates robotic and laparoscopic techniques for common bile duct exploration and strategies for bailout. Biliary tree imaging as it relates to gallbladder surgery and common bile duct stones is also reviewed. Participants practice techniques with a hands-on dry simulation lab and gain practical experience.
