The Professionalism and Values Seminar Series focuses on values embraced at Mayo Clinic since the Clinic was founded. Values and Professionalism in the practice are central to the Mayo Model of Care and are reflected in the clinic's primary value, "The needs of the patient come first." This Seminar will focus on Commitment 5 - Promote a respectful and trusting environment that embraces diversity and open communication. 

The objectives, which align with Commitment 5, include: 

  • Seek to understand others through their diverse stories
  • Recognize the benefit of diversity and inclusion at Mayo Clinic
  • Consider ways to personally promote and support diversity and inclusion to create a respectful and trusting environment for patients, visitors and staff. 

Event will take place in Rochester.  This will be webcast live and will also be available for later viewing.

Credit is announced on the Group Home page.  All sessions are reviewed individually and credit is removed on those that do not meet the critieria.
