Eliza Sukiennik, M.D.

 

Introduction
Dr. Sukiennik completed her undergraduate training at Loyola University in Chicago and went on to earn her medical degree from Poznan University of Medical Sciences in Poznan, Poland. She is board certified in General Adult Psychiatry and is currently a Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellow in her 5th year of training at Mayo Clinic. Following completion of her fellowship training in June 2017, Dr. Sukiennik will be returning to her home town, Chicago, to provide psychiatric care for a broad spectrum of psychiatric disorders.

PACS Scores and Sobriety After Residential Chemical Dependency Treatment

Matthew Stohs, M.D.

Introduction
Dr. Stohs received his B.S. in Biology from Valparaiso University in 2006.  He later earned his M.D. from Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana in 2012.  He completed his psychiatry residency at Mayo Clinic in 2016 and is board certified in general psychiatry.  He is currently completing his addiction psychiatry fellowship at Mayo Clinic as well.  He will begin a faculty position at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) in July of 2017 in a dual appointment at both MCW and Milwaukee VA Medical Center.  His clinical interests include treating addiction in the adolescent and young adult population as well as integrating psychiatric care into primary care settings.

Learning Objectives

  1. Recognize the clinical significance of assessing alchohol craving.
  2. Describe the relationship between alcohol craving severity and its relationsnip to return to drinking after treatment.
