Christine Conelea, Ph.D.

 


Introduction

Dr. Christine Conelea is a clinical psychologist and Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Minnesota. Dr. Conelea received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Nevada, Reno and her doctorate from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. She completed internship and fellowship training at the Alpert Medical School of Brown University, and she was a member of the Brown faculty prior to moving to Minnesota last year. Dr. Conelea’s research and clinical expertise is in the area of pediatric tic, obsessive-compulsive, and anxiety disorders. She is particularly interested in understanding how the brain, environment, and psychosocial factors interact to impact symptoms and treatment outcome. Her research is currently supported by a Career Development Award from the National Institute of Mental Health.
