Speaker 1:
Keith Miller, M.D. was born and raised throughout the Midwest. He studied molecular biology at Kenyon College and medicine at Mayo Medical School. He fell in love with comics when he needed something to read while his parents shopped for groceries.

Speaker 2:
Jennifer Inbarasu, M.D. is a Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Chief Fellow at Mayo Clinic.  After completing medical school at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, she completed three years of General Psychiatry residency at Mayo Clinic before entering the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Integrated Program.  Dr. Inbarasu's clinical and research interests include a focus on young child interventions.

• describe at least two ways that comic books can be helpful for patients.

• identify the prevalence of behavioral problems in children.
• recognize the impact that parenting a defiant child may have on the mental health of adult patients.
• describe the basic components of Parent-Child Interaction Therapy.
