Current Concepts in Primary Eye Care 2019

This one-day course is designed as a continuing education course for optometry, with a balanced assessment of clinically relevant advances in eye care.  Topics include neuro ophthalmology including MOG-IgG Antibody Optic neuritis, glaucoma cases, retinal cases, choroidal nevus to ocular melanoma risk factors,  Fuchs’ grading and acute retinal ischemia diagnosis and management.

Learning Objectives

Upon conclusion of this program, participants should be able to:

  • Review glaucoma cases and management
  • Identify case-based approaches evaluate choroidal nevus with multimodal technology
  • Recognize the severity of Fuchs’ Dystrophy
  • Identify symptoms and signs of acute ischemic retinopathy
  • Describe the characteristics of MOG-IgG Antibody Optic Neuritis
