DESCRIPTION 
The grand rounds are held weekly from 12:15 p.m. - 1:25 p.m. at the local time of the host site (Rochester, Florida, or Arizona) and is broadcast enterprise wide for faculty from all cancer-related disciplines, clinical and research trainees, administration staff, and allied health staff. These sessions are available via Zoom Webinar, Live Webcast, and are recorded on the Video Exchange for later viewing.

The Mayo Clinic Cancer Center (MCCC) Grand Rounds series brings together internal and external experts, innovators, and thought leaders to present cancer-related content to enhance the cancer practice, research, and education at the Mayo Clinic.

M.D., nurses, N.P., P.A., basic researchers, fellows and trainees

LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Upon conclusion of this activity, participants will be able to:
  • Describe key clinical and research areas of hematology, oncology, palliative care, surgical oncology and radiation oncology.
  • Evaluate cases pertinent to hematology-oncology that provide insight into challenging diagnosis and therapy.
  • Recognize quality improvement, practice optimization metrics, and processes to enhance cancer care.
