Title:Conducting Clinical Trials

Learning Objectives:

1)  Summarize how Randomized Clinical Trials give us the most definitive information about a question/issue possible.

2)  Define the specific set of procedures and rules by which these RCT’s are done.

3)  Point out that over-interpretation of results from RCT’s is common and should be avoided.

4) Recognize RCT’s with “null results” should be examined carefully for useful information.

5) Distinguish that a “disease content expert” does not necessarily have the expertise to conduct/perform an RCT.

Credit (if available) is announced on the Group Home page.  All sessions are reviewed individually and credit is pulled for any that does not meet the criteria
