This course will focus on clinic and hospital-based cardiac rhythm issues and other topics for both physicians and allied health staff with EP lab focus.

Learning Objectives

Upon conclusion of this program, participants should be able to:

• Evaluate critical ECG features of disease
• Discuss the use of novel anticoagulants
• Decide when to appropriately refer patients for ablation procedures
• Describe the current guidelines and new strategies for treatment of atrial fibrillation
• Discuss early evaluation and acute management options for arrhythmias
• Identify surface ECG and chamber abnormalities
• Discuss simplified criteria for aberrancy or ventricular tachycardia
