AMA Credit

Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science designates live activity for a maximum of 23.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ (18.5 for General Session and 4.5 for either ABIM or ABFM MOCs). Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

 

AAFP Credit

This Live activity, Mayo Clinic Cardiology Update 2016: The Heart of the Matter, with a beginning date of 08/04/2016, has been reviewed and is acceptable for up to 23.25 Prescribed credit(s) by the American Academy of Family Physicians. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

AOA Credit

This program has been accredited by the American Osteopathic Association for 23.0 credits of AOA Category 2-A.

Nursing – Continuing Education Credit

Participants can earn up to 23.0 (18.5 for the General Session and 4.5 for ABIM or ABFM) ANCC nursing contact hours commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. Mayo Continuing Nursing Education is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. A record of attendance will be provided to all registrants for requesting credits in accordance with state nursing boards, specialty societies, or other professional associations.
