Poster Abstracts Overview:
The 2024 Mayo Clinic Wound Symposium: The Edges of Wound Care will feature a poster session with the goal of sharing knowledge, showcasing participants’ work, and stimulating dialogue among conference attendees. All approved posters will be virtually displayed to all symposium attendees. The top 10 posters will be invited to present their poster at the live symposium during the poster session.
Posters can feature data-driven original research on any aspect of wound care, describe innovative clinical programs or projects related to the assessment and treatment of wound patients, or explicate training methods used to increase clinician effectiveness in evaluating such patients.
Participants are encouraged to submit projects highlighting programs and initiatives that impact the practice, education, research, and administrative environments in health care, and abstracts that provide evidence and successful models for engaging targeted stakeholders and constituents and advancing health care delivery.

Abstract Eligibility:
In support of inclusiveness, abstracts are not limited to first-time presentations. Abstracts that have been presented at previous meetings are eligible for consideration, as are abstracts from papers that have already been published.
Number of Entries:
A participant may be the primary author on no more than two abstracts; however, he or she may be a contributing author on any number of abstracts.
Requirements:
- All approved posters will be virtually displayed to symposium attendees.
Requirements for Top 10 Posters:
- The judging panel will select the top 10 posters for display at the live symposium.
- At least one author of selected posters will be invited to present their poster at the live symposium during the poster session.
- Poster presenters are expected to register for live attendance at the symposium to be held February 28 – March 1, 2024, in Rochester, Minnesota.
- A $50 discounted registration fee will be offered to the winning poster author.
- Posters selected for the live symposium poster session must be posted by 10:00 AM, February 28, 2024 for viewing.
- All approved presenters must stay with their posters during the poster session on Thursday, February 29, 2024, from 3:00-3:30 PM.
- Posters selected for the symposium will be displayed throughout the duration of the conference (February 28 – March 1, 2024).
- The finished poster size can be no larger than 4’x4’, to fit on the provided display space.
- All costs associated with the poster are the responsibility of the author(s).

- Paid live symposium registration is required for accepted poster abstracts.
- All fields are required, omitting this information may lead to rejection of your abstract.
Notification of Results:
Authors will be notified of acceptance by February 12, 2024.
