LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Recognize high risk, low frequency patients during transport.
  • Compare differing approaches between the different transport teams.
  • Describe components of care of the critical care patient during transport.
  • Summarize key concepts of each patient diagnosis discussed in case study reviews.
  • Identify strengths and best practices from all three Mayo Clinic Ambulance Service groups.
  • Define concepts of care for pre-hospital and inter-facility patient transport.
