Jacquelyn Fletcher Johnson, M.F.A.

PRESENTER BIO

Jacquelyn Fletcher Johnson is a dragon boat racing gold medalist, global speaker, and transformational executive coach. She develops bold leaders and trains teams in sustainable resilience, bold leadership, and transformational storytelling. As the founder and CEO of the Heartwood Leadership Institute, she's helped thousands of clinicians (Mayo Clinic, UnitedHealth, Optum Health, Carver College of Medicine), executives at Fortune 50 companies (Amazon, American Express, Accenture, The Coca-Cola Company, Microsoft, Salesforce, Stripe, Visa, Walmart) and nonprofit leaders step into legendary leadership. Jacquelyn was the co-creator and host of the Healing Words television show and a founding faculty member of the Creative Writing at the Bedside program, both administered by the Lavins Center for Humanities in Medicine at Mayo Clinic. Jacquelyn has degrees in English and Women's Studies from Wellesley College and holds an M.F.A. in Writing and Publishing from Emerson College. She won an academic fellowship to study with psychotherapists for a year from the Minnesota Psychoanalytic Society. Her company is a network organization on the National Academy of Medicine's Action Collaborative on Clinician Well-Being and Resilience. Additionally, she served as Chair of the Board of Directors for the Loft Literary Center and is currently on the board of the MN Dragon Divas, a dragon boat team of all breast cancer survivors.
