Overview: 

In this interactive plenary, medical improv educator Dr. Belinda Fu shares the power of improvisation to transform how physicians teach, practice, and connect with humanity. Through the lens of her research and experience as a physician, actor, educator, and patient, Dr. Fu explains how improv supports the growth of healthy clinicians and communities, by diving into the frameworks and practices of the evolving field of medical improv. By the end of this session, audiences recognize how medical improv can develop competencies, strengthen relationships, energize teaching, and build joyful resilience in times of uncertainty and change.
