LEARNING OBJECTIVES: Upon conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Apply current guidelines to select patients for coronary CT angiography (cCTA) as a first-line diagnostic test in the evaluation of chest pain.
- Integrate cCTA findings (including stenosis severity, plaque characteristics, and CT-derived fractional flow reserve) into clinical decision-making, including the need for cardiology consultation.
- Recognize clinical scenarios where cCTA is not indicated or is contraindicated and appropriately select alternative diagnostic strategies.
