LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Upon conclusion of this program, participants should be able to:

  • Identify radiographic findings of Achilles tendon ruptures​ (Domain 2; Task 204)

  • Define key findings of a clinical exam of Achilles tendon ruptures​, both subjectively with a detailed history and objectively with a thorough physical exam (Domain 2; Task 201, 202)

  • Identify pros and cons of non-operative vs operative treatment of acute Achilles tendon ruptures​ (Domain 4; Task 401, 406)

  • Interpret current research on the role that genetics can play in making someone at an increased risk for an Achilles tendon rupture (Domain 4; Task 404)
