LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Upon conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Recognize that a fragility fracture is a sentinel event. 
  • Understand that fragility fractures have mortality, disability, and costs that are comparable to other diseases we already treat aggressively. 
  • Identify patients at high risk of fracture using clinical history, simple risk tools, and incidental image findings.
