• Recognize the major clinical features and genetic etiologies of inherited cardiovascular disorders, including channelopathies, cardiomyopathies, heritable aortopathies, and inherited lipid disorders.
• Describe how genetic testing can influence diagnosis, risk stratification, treatment, and family screening in patients with suspected inherited cardiovascular disease
• Explain emerging models for integrating cardiovascular genomics into clinical practice, such as those being developed through the Mayo Clinic Cardiovascular Genomics Center.
