Join this livestream webinar to explore how wearable technology can be incorporated into wellness coaching in a way that aligns with the National Board for Health & Wellness Coaching (NBHWC) Scope of Practice. This session emphasizes the coach’s role as a facilitator of self-discovery—supporting clients in interpreting their own data, identifying patterns, and connecting insights to what matters most to them.
Participants will learn how to integrate data from devices such as fitness trackers and smartwatches—capturing metrics like sleep, activity, and heart rate—into collaborative coaching conversations that honor client autonomy and readiness. Rather than directing behavior, coaches will focus on fostering awareness, evoking motivation, and supporting sustainable, values-driven change.
The webinar will also address practical and ethical considerations, including maintaining clear boundaries between coaching and clinical care, supporting diverse client needs and preferences, and navigating data use with respect for privacy and professionalism.
