The Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology in Eau Claire, WI consists of an established group of nine General Gastroenterologists, one Advanced Endoscopist and seven APPs in providing gastroenterology services in a physician-led, stable organization that is part of an academically and research oriented practice. The Eau Claire Gastroenterology division is in a state of growth, not only in size, geographic patient care and services, but also in academic focus to include teaching opportunities, growth in multidisciplinary specialty clinic including Surgical Oncology/Cancer Center and research, innovation, and optimization endeavors. This is a 100% GI practice with strong hospitalist program in place. The hospital is a verified Level II Trauma Center and consists of 2 clinics. Office, endoscopy unit and hospital are in one facility that consist of two new procedure rooms with state-of-the-art equipment to support endoscopy procedures, totaling 9 procedure rooms in the Eau Claire location. The position offers a collegial relationship with Mayo Clinic in Rochester, extremely manageable call of 1:7, a 4 ½ day work week with procedure volumes of approximately 12 cases a day to ensure work, life, balance and a full back up for all subspecialties in a team centric work environment with common EMR/PACS across all Mayo Clinic Health System sites. Eau Claire offers strong schools, low crime, abundance of outdoor activities and a reasonable cost of living. The city has short commutes to larger metro areas; Minneapolis/St. Paul or Rochester.

The Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology in La Crosse, WI includes seven gastroenterologists, providing consultative gastrointestinal services to a primary care patient base of 240,000 in west-central Wisconsin, southeastern Minnesota and northeastern Iowa. The comprehensive practice also includes four nurse practitioners, who see patients in our self-contained GI clinic and hospital, which is conveniently located adjacent to the Endoscopy Unit in the hospital building, and the campus also has a surgical building and cancer center. Our state-of-the-art Endoscopy/ERCP/Fluoroscopy Unit in our 225-bed medical center, using the Mayo Clinic model, includes HD Olympus endoscopic equipment, Givens capsule endoscopy and single balloon and endoscopic ultrasound. This location is poised for growth in a competitive landscape with plans to expand our patient reach further through networking opportunities with internal and external providers. These opportunities will serve as the means to develop community relationships and to grow an already busy high quality outpatient and procedural practice (ADR 55-65%). The Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Mayo Clinic in Arizona is seeking a Board Certified Gastroenterologist with expertise in caring for patients with Inflammatory Bowel Diseases. The selected candidate will join a collegial team of dedicated and talented physicians and staff thriving in a dynamic clinical academic practice with cutting-edge technology. Preference will be given to those experienced in IBD care with expertise in clinical trials, epidemiology, and/or outcomes research. Educational expertise is desired to work with learners from students through advanced fellows. Leadership opportunities will be available in clinical practice, research and education, based on interest and experience of the selected candidate. The Mayo Clinic IBD Program is staffed by gastroenterologists, colorectal surgeons, nurse practitioners, nurses, medical assistants, dieticians and pharmacy who treat our patients in a highly collaborative, team-based practice. We offer state-of-the-art Endoscopy Units and a Motility Laboratory with facilities and support for clinical or laboratory-based research.
