MORE: Advancing the Practice, Research, and Education of Osteopathic Medicine

Use this submission form to submit your workshop proposal for the Mayo Osteopathic Research and Education (MORE) Conference. The last date for submission is January 29, 2027, after which the form will be closed.

  • Workshops on Friday, September 17 will be 45 minutes in length
    •  
    • Workshops on Friday will be repeated four times to separate small groups of approximately 10 participants.
    • Clinical workshops are intended to be practice-focused, and may not have presentation capabilities available.
  • Workshops on Saturday, September 18 will be 50 minutes in length
    • Workshops on Saturday will be given in a large-group setting with presentation capabilities available.

Primary submitters will receive notification by February 12, 2027, indicating whether their workshop proposal has been accepted for inclusion in the program.

Submission Category Definitions

Clinical Workshop: Sessions focused on practical, hands-on clinical skills relevant to osteopathic practice, including demonstrations or applied exercises.

Education Workshop: Sessions that address teaching methods, educational strategies, or curriculum development for medical education.

Research Workshop: Sessions that cover research design, methodology, or findings relevant to osteopathic medicine and manual therapy.

Workshop Content and Structure

Organize your workshop content and structure with the following sections:

  • Overview and Relevance: Provide an overview of the workshop topic, explaining its significance and relevance to attendees.
  • Key Content Areas: Describe the main topics, skills, or theories that will be covered in the session.
  • Structure and Delivery Methods: Outline the session format, specifying how content will be presented (e.g., lecture, discussions, hands-on exercises).
  • Participant Engagement: Explain how participants will be actively involved throughout the session (e.g., through Q&A, demonstrations, or group activities) and how these interactions will enhance learning and support participant outcomes.
