This two-day course provides an exposure to the basic principles of pediatric critical care. The primary goals are to enhance the primary care practictioner’s ability to performing the initial assessment of critically ill pediatric patients, and to augment the practioner’s skills in managing and stabilizing the patient in anticipation of transport to a tertiary care center.
