Mayo Clinic Interventional Cardiology Online Board Review course highlights interventional cardiology topics and information with practical application in studying for board certification in interventional cardiology. The course covers basic aspects of interventional cardiology, including catheterization laboratory equipment, radiation physics and safety, pharmacology, and procedural planning and performance. Specific patient lesion and procedural characteristics are highlighted including a review of challenging cases.

Online CME course - Available until February 28, 2026

The course was developed as part of a RETAIN federal grant program. Mayo Clinic is the medical partner in the grant aimed at improving early return to work for employees when medical conditions impact their ability to work. Education to providers is meant to instruct on the devastating costs of needless work disability in the US and proven strategies to help patients stay productive and experience better outcomes when work is part of therapy.

Mayo Clinic’s Microvascular Surgery Skills Training Course is a five-day program focused on skill development in the use of microvascular surgical techniques. Limited to four attendees per session, the course allows each attendee to receive extensive, individualized training. The instruction incorporates demonstrations, microvascular skills practice and detailed handouts. Attendees will work with the course instructor to schedule a week that is both convenient and well-suited to individual skills.

The Mayo Clinic Division of Community Internal Medicine, Geriatrics, and Palliative Care is pleased to offer this online course to provide family practitioners, internists, general practitioners, advanced nurse practitioners and physician assistants with current information on the care of older adults, including clinical evaluation of cognitive and functional health, chronic disease management strategies, topics on post-acute/long term care, and caregiver support.
