In particular, there are significant knowledge gaps regarding opioid management and nonpharmacologic management. This webinar series addresses these gaps with topics that focus on improving the safety and quality of treatment of patients with chronic pain in our community. Communication with patients with chronic pain can often be challenging given a different number of factors. This session will focus on effective strategies for communicating with difficult patients as well as patients who catastrophize their pain so that providers can optimize patient safety and outcomes. |
