This is Mayo Clinic's 12th annual "Tackling Problematic Sinusitis" course. It will be taught by world-class Mayo Clinic faculty, who will be joined by several global experts. This highly rated and well-attended course is one of the most prestigious CME activities in the field of rhinology. This course will provide a comprehensive update on tackling problematic chronic sinusitis and other difficult-to-manage rhinologic diagnoses. The course will also focus on new data and progress made in the management of chronic rhinosinusitis. Learners can expect a comprehensive curriculum covering updates and advances in pathophysiology, office-based procedures, surgical management, medical therapeutics, and new treatment options, including biologics. In addition, we will be discussing research into the pathophysiology and therapeutic targets for chronic rhinosinusitis and comorbid conditions. Personalized medical and surgical strategies and endotyping algorithms that help optimize outcomes will be discussed. Techniques covered will include in-office procedures for rhinitis and sinusitis, as well as primary and revision sinus surgery.

The Mayo Clinic Interactive Surgery Symposium 2025 is designed to educate general surgeons on procedures seen in everyday practice. Difficult cases encountered in a smaller community practice rely on the best practices offered during the sessions. The symposium offers decision-making options that cover multiple aspects of surgical practice. Active audience participation with faculty is strongly encouraged during case presentations and faculty panel discussions. Surgical techniques will be demonstrated through video presentations and audience response will be used to enhance the interactive format. This course also features Self-Assessment Credit toward Part 2 of the ABS MOC Program.

Mayo Clinic’s Hospital Medicine Boot Camp for NPPAs is a two-day course designed for the novice learner, ideally within the first year of their hospital-based NPPA position. This course is meant to be fun and full of practical information taught by faculty that use current guidelines and share tidbits of experience to help successfully care for acutely ill hospitalized patients. It is filled with a variety of commonly encountered hospital scenarios followed by interactive and informal discussion. Open dialog is encouraged. Participants should feel free to wear scrubs and comfortable shoes, bring a stethoscope, and reference/clinical materials used in daily practice. Despite being called boot camp there are no physical fitness elements to the course.

This three-day symposium features a blend of multidisciplinary sessions and specialized tracks, including hands-on learning and small breakout sessions. It begins with a multidisciplinary session on day one, continues with subspecialty breakouts on day two, and concludes with another multidisciplinary session on day three.
