Mayo Clinic's Simulation-Based Boot Camp 2.0 for Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants provides supplemental training to Mayo Clinic hospital-based providers using commonly encountered simulated patient presentations. This course builds upon commonly encountered patient scenarios with more medically complex patients that are common among hospitalized patients, regardless of inpatient clinical practice setting. This one-day simulation-based course allows participants to expand their knowledge in caring for medically complex patients and is intended for Mayo Clinic providers who have previously attended the Hospital Medicine Simulation-Based Boot Camp 1.0 for NPs and PAs to further build on the learning from Boot Camp 1.0. This course is teaching about topics that all NPPAs need to know to be able to manage hospitalized patients, regardless of the division. Chosen topics are based on feedback and suggestions from previous course attendees. Please come prepared for another interactive day that will provide you with clinical pearls and helpful tools when caring for the medically complex patients.
