The Mayo Clinic Advanced Cholecystectomy and Biliary Tract Stones course provides comprehensive insight into the multidisciplinary approach to patients with complex cholelithiasis-related pathology. The program demonstrates robotic and laparoscopic techniques for common bile duct exploration and strategies for bailout. Biliary tree imaging as it relates to gallbladder surgery and common bile duct stones is also reviewed. Participants practice techniques with a hands-on dry simulation lab and gain practical experience.

This In-person, one-day, multidisciplinary, interactive course will provide an introduction to simulation-based education. Topics discussed include principles of experiential learning, planning a simulation course, writing and implementing scenarios, and debriefing strategies. Participants also have opportunities to practice scenario writing and debriefing with the guidance of experienced faculty. Enrollment is limited to encourage discussion between attendees.

The Mayo Clinic Gynecologic and Breast Imaging Review course is a postgraduate medical course that will provide practicing radiologists and radiologists-in-training with current information on the imaging diagnosis and management of breast and gynecologic disease. The didactic component of the course will focus on standard practices and core knowledge of imaging interpretation, while emphasizing emerging techniques and current controversies in breast and pelvic imaging. A multidisciplinary approach will be utilized, with speakers from breast and gynecologic surgery, as well as discussion of breast pathology and breast imaging legal topics.

This three-day course provides attendees a multidisciplinary review of standard of care management practices and state-of-the-art advances in care of the patient with cutaneous malignancy, particularly melanoma, along with squamous cell and basal cell cancer. The first morning session focuses on epidemiology, prevention, pathology, surgical treatment, and advances in systemic therapy for patients with melanoma and squamous cell cancer. The first afternoon session focus on surgery, medical oncology, and introduction to dermoscopy. The last two days are an in-depth immersion into dermoscopy for evaluating skin diseases with a focus on neoplasms. Participants develop practical skills that will enable them to be more comfortable approaching patients with potentially dangerous skin lesions.
