DESCRIPTION
This series offers a comprehensive exploration of artificial intelligence’s transformative potential in laboratory medicine, covering fundamental technologies, practical applications, and ethical considerations. The series will provide insights into cutting-edge AI technologies, their current implementation in pathology, and future opportunities for innovation and improvement in clinical processes.

In-Person and Live-Streamed; Every other Month on a Monday from 12:00-1:00 p.m. 

TARGET AUDIENCE
Allied Health Professionals, Healthcare Executives, Physicians, Scientist Researcher PhDs and Students. 

LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Describe ethical and regulatory considerations that must be addressed before implementing AI tools in clinical practice.
  • Identify at least two ways AI adoption in the laboratory can impact patient care, such as reducing unnecessary testing or enhancing predictive diagnostics.
